How many licensed contractors are there in Florida
96,330 Florida contractor licences are current and active on the Construction Industry Licensing Board file, held by 73,183 people.
30,460 of them (31.6%) are certified general contractors; 9,282 are certified roofing contractors.
33,330 of the active licences (34.6%) were first issued in 2022 or later.
Certified licences are valid statewide; registered licences (R codes) only in the local areas where the holder is licensed. 9,491 people hold more than one class.
