The service
ProfessionLens publishes counts of licensed professionals in the United States by profession, state and employer. There is no account and no paywall.
Acceptable use
You may cite, quote and link to any count on this site, with attribution and a link back to the page it came from. You may not present the data as your own research or republish it as a competing dataset without attribution.
Data accuracy
Counts are computed from public licensing rolls and federal files as pulled on the count date. A roll can carry errors, duplicates or lapsed licences. The method page states the rows read, kept and dropped behind every figure. The service is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy or completeness.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, ProfessionLens is not liable for decisions made using the published counts.
