About ProfessionLens
ProfessionLens is a research site that counts licensed professionals and executive titles in the United States: dentists, physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, real-estate agents, insurance producers, professional engineers and contractors, by state and by employer. Counts are computed from public licensing rolls and federal statistics; each page names the source and the count date. Every count is free to read and free to cite.

How ProfessionLens works
Every licensing count is computed from a full public file, never a sample. The rolls were pulled on 15 September 2026. A share is published only when its base holds at least 20 rows. Rows read, kept and dropped, and the checks against published figures, are on the method page. Corrections go to hello@professionlens.com.

Is ProfessionLens free?
Every count is free to read and free to cite with a link to the page it came from. The full lists are paid, one-time: California, Texas and Florida real estate agents and Texas insurance agents, $29 each, see pricing.
Does ProfessionLens publish individual names?
Count pages carry no individual names, only counts by profession, state, county and employer. Research reports on executive titles name the office holders found in press and company sources.
Which month do the counts describe?
September 2026. Each page names its source file and count date.
